P-Funk Ephemera: From the Mothership and Beyond
A Pop-Up Exhibit from DJ Soul Sister’s Archives
1:00-3:00pm
Peaches Records, 4318 Magazine St.

In October 1976, Parliament-Funkadelic brought its legendary P-Funk Earth Tour to New Orleans, marking the first landing of the Mothership. Fifty years later, DJ Soul Sister shares a selection of rare P-Funk ephemera and other materials from her personal archives in this special one-time display at Peaches Records.

Featuring vintage promotional materials, printed ephemera, and other pieces from the P-Funk universe, this pop-up exhibit offers a glimpse into the group’s visual culture and history, as well as Soul Sister’s decades-long connection to P-Funk, both as a fan and through her own experiences with the group.
